You will design and implement comprehensive internal and external communications strategies, leading outreach programs for University Relations, military outreach, and event planning, while promoting talent acquisition initiatives to drive business expansion. We are intentional about when we ask our teams to co-locate for work, so examples of when you would be asked to come onsite would be for events, strategy sessions, team bonding, etc. **Key Responsibilities:** Design, create and execute tailored communication strategies to help Talent Acquisition identify, attract, engage and hire top talent. Responsibilities include but not limited to: + University Relations Outreach: We are seeking a candidate with experience in corporate recruiting within the university setting, either from a corporate or university perspective, to help develop and implement a strategic communications plan that supports our university recruitment efforts. + Recruiting events: promote job fairs, career days, and other recruitment activities to attract top talent + Process updates: communicate changes to existing processes and introduce new ones that impact internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption + Stakeholder engagement: inform and involve relevant stakeholders, including employees, managers, and external partners, to ensure awareness and buy-in of Talent Acquisition initiatives and programs + Collaborate with Talent Acquisition leadership to craft key messages, develop communication strategies, and create engaging content to attract top talent + Partner with Comms teams to design and develop compelling collateral, such as videos, brochures, and web content, to support Talent Acquisition outreach efforts + Track and analyze metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and provide insights to inform future initiatives + Ensure all Talent Acquisition communications adhere to corporate branding and identity guidelines + Experience in communications, public relations, or a related field, with a focus on talent acquisition or recruitment marketing at the University level, either from a corporate or university perspective + Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills + Ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans that drive engagement and results + Strong collaboration and project management skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams + Familiarity with corporate branding and identity guidelines, with the ability to ensure consistency across all communications **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor s degree in either Business, Communications, Journalism, English or Marketing plus 5-8 years of related communications experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience). + 5-8 years University Relations experience with a background in UR marketing and communications; building communication plans for career services and/or admissions office at the University level + Proficiency in all MS Office programs **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Experience in the defense/technology industry a plus. + Strong writing and verbal communications skills. + Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively in a matrixed organization. + Strong understanding of internal and external communications strategies; ability to think strategically and build implementation plans that have a measurable impact. + Strong relationship building, negotiation, time management and influencing skills. + Established business acumen. + Demonstrated track record of leading enterprise-level communications programs. + Must be a team-focused networker, collaborator and motivator with a strong desire to learn and grow. + Ability to identify, assess, understand, and make appropriate recommendations to meet business needs. + Problem solving skills, with specific focus on developing new, creative ways to drive communications in a changing business environment. + Ability to simultaneously initiate, prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $99410 - $168997 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
