About the job:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team at BBVA, a leading financial services firm. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, developing strong talent pipelines, and partnering with hiring managers to attract top-tier professionals in finance, risk, compliance, operations, technology, and related functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies aligned with business goals.Proactively source and engage top talent through various channels including LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, networking events, and industry conferences.Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for key roles and future hiring needs.Conduct initial candidate assessments and coordinate interview processes across various departments.Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.Track and report recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire.Maintain compliance with internal policies and relevant labor regulations.Represent the company at job fairs, campus events, and industry networking functions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.3+ years of recruitment experience, preferably within the financial services or professional services industry.Proven success in sourcing and placing high-caliber talent across a range of functions and levels.Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting tools, and sourcing techniques.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.Understanding of financial services roles and industry dynamics is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Experience recruiting for finance, accounting, investment, or compliance roles.Familiarity with diversity and inclusion recruiting strategies.Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices.Certifications in recruiting (e.g., CIR, AIRS, SHRM-CP) are a plus.

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $115,000 to $125,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
