Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Manager leads end-to-end recruiting for an assigned functional area, ensuring the attraction and successful hiring of high-quality talent that aligns with the organization’s culture and strategic goals. This role partners closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to design and execute effective talent strategies, oversee selection processes, and position the organization as an employer of choice. The Talent Acquisition Manager exercises autonomy in non-routine decisions, provides informed recommendations to leadership, and serves as a subject matter expert on talent acquisition practices and market trends.
Responsibilities
+ Manage full life-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles within the assigned area of responsibility, from requisition intake through offer acceptance.
+ Collaborate with HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and business leaders to drive talent processes and support the broader human capital strategy.
+ Oversee the selection process by identifying and assessing active and passive candidates, conducting pre-screens, facilitating interviews, and leading debrief sessions with interview teams.
+ Identify potential concerns during the hiring process and proactively recommend solutions to support a successful hire.
+ Leverage information gathered from candidates and hiring teams to recommend the most suitable candidates for specific openings.
+ Effectively market the organization and its employee benefits to candidates to position the company as an employer of choice.
+ Influence hiring teams to adopt and consistently use established hiring best practices, tools, and resources.
+ Implement defined national and local talent acquisition strategies within the assigned business area.
+ Maintain awareness of current hiring trends, competitor information, and employment market conditions and apply these insights to recruiting strategies.
+ Act as a subject matter expert and consultative partner for business leaders, developing collaborative relationships to enhance talent acquisition operations.
+ Partner with business leaders to develop sourcing strategies and solutions that build a strong pipeline of talent to meet emerging business needs and address anticipated talent gaps.
+ Provide coaching and guidance to hiring managers on talent acquisition practices, processes, and candidate evaluation.
+ Prepare and deliver clear, compelling presentations and communications related to recruiting activities and talent initiatives.
+ Organize and manage multiple recruiting projects and requisitions simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate execution of all tasks.
Essential Skills
+ 8+ years of progressive experience in recruiting or talent management.
+ In-depth knowledge of talent acquisition practices, processes, and solutions.
+ Ability to perform work accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
+ Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
+ Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
+ Advanced organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to influence candidates at various stages of awareness about the organization and encourage consideration of a range of opportunities.
+ Strong facilitation skills with the ability to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
+ Strong presentation skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate business and technical information clearly.
+ Strong project management, organizing, and planning skills.
+ Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
+ Ability to provide coaching and guidance to hiring managers on a variety of talent-related situations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
+ Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
+ Experience partnering with HR Business Partners and business leaders to support human capital strategy.
+ Experience managing full life-cycle recruiting for a range of roles and levels.
+ Demonstrated ability to stay current on hiring trends, competitor information, and labor market conditions.
+ Experience implementing national and local talent acquisition strategies.
+ Proven ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies that build strong talent pipelines.
+ Ability to work with a degree of autonomy on non-routine matters while providing recommendations to leadership when needed.
Work Environment
This role operates in a professional office setting with a hybrid work arrangement. The Talent Acquisition Manager works in the office three days per week and remotely two days per week, with the expectation of maintaining a consistent weekly schedule chosen by the employee. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The environment is business casual and office-based, offering a stable workplace where employees tend to have long tenure and the organization has demonstrated resilience through challenging periods. Work is primarily computer-based, utilizing Microsoft Office and standard corporate systems to support recruiting activities, collaboration, and communication
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $62.00/hr.
