Talent Acquisition Manager – Contract Role

Location: Kansas City (Hybrid – 3 days remote per week)

Duration: 6-month contract

We are partnering with a reputable company in Kansas City to hire a Talent Acquisition Manager for a 6-month contract opportunity. This role offers a flexible hybrid schedule, allowing you to work from home three days a week, and provides a supportive and collaborative work environment. MUST BE LOCATED IN KANSAS CITY.

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Consultant to collaborate with hiring managers and determine current and future staffing needs. This role involves developing and executing innovative sourcing strategies using social networks, job boards, and niche platforms. You will build and maintain relationships with passive candidates and talent communities, while managing the full-cycle recruitment process including screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.Develop and implement sourcing strategies using various platforms.Build and maintain relationships with passive candidates and talent communities.Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.Organize and participate in career fairs, networking events, and assessment centers.Track and report key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and source of hire.Ensure compliance with labor legislation and internal hiring policies.Contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract diverse and high-performing talent.Maintain long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.

Essential Skills

Talent acquisition expertise.Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).Proficiency in resume databases and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to conduct structured and behavioral interviews.Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices.Strategic mindset with a passion for building high-performing teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).Proven experience in talent acquisition, preferably within the construction industry.

Work Environment

The position offers a professional work environment where you will use advanced technologies such as ATS, resume databases, and various sourcing tools. The role involves flexible hours to accommodate networking events and career fairs, promoting a culture of collaboration and strategic talent acquisition.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr.
