About the role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Talent Acquisition Apprentice to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to start their career in recruitment and human resources. As an apprentice, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting both our early careers and experienced hiring functions, gaining hands on experience in the full recruitment lifecycle for AVEVA Group.

You’ll start by learning the fundamentals of talent acquisition and supporting the team as you develop your skills, with the view to progress your responsibilities to include managing end-to-end hiring process independently, extending employment offers, and ensure smooth integration for new hires.

Key Responsibilities

As a Talent Acquisition Apprentice, you will be key part of our team, learning and contributing to a variety of tasks:

Discovery Meetings: Attending discovery meetings with hiring managers to understand the requirements, consulting and partnering with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Posting: Updating and managing the job posting and refreshing the requisitions in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Candidate Screening: Reviewing and screening candidate applications to ensure they meet role requirements.

Administrative Support: Assisting with various administrative tasks, such as scheduling  interviews and maintaining accurate candidate records, extending employment offers and onboarding activities.

Candidate Sourcing: Supporting the team in identifying and engaging potential candidates through job boards and platforms e.g. LinkedIn, and other sourcing tools to build strong talent pipelines.

Candidate Experience: Proactively communicating with candidates, providing feedback and creating a positive and transparent experience through their application journey.

Early Careers: Assisting with early careers assessments and screening, managing the early careers inbox, providing administrative support for various early careers tasks and processes.

 The Talent Acquisition Apprentice will receive ongoing mentorship from Talent Acquisition team ensuring comprehensive training and support to grow into a confident and capable professional in the field.

Hybrid working

By default, employees are expected to be in their local AVEVA office three days a week, but some positions are fully office-based. Roles supporting particular customers or markets are sometimes remote.
