*Reporting to the Tailings & Water Management Supervisor, you will be part of the Mill Operations Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Work in team/crew setting reporting to a daily supervisor. Work with principles of teamwork, and good communication displaying these daily. Capable of working independently at times;
Perform job duties as assigned, inline with SOP’s and health/safety standards at site;
Operate machinery including haul truck, excavator, dozer, generator, pumps, compressors, forklift, loader, grader, excavator, and hand tools;
Complete tailings and water management operational tasks including daily inspections, pipe work set-up/relocation, dewatering activities, welding, and tailings spigotting;
Handle and transport Dangerous Goods materials (chemicals for plant) at times;
Maintain equipment and work area in good working conditions (implement 5S including\: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, & Sustain);
Be prepared to assist in all roles that are required and responding appropriately to these needs, including seasonal activity, shovelling snow, spreading sand, and enabling safe access to work areas for others;
Support other departments and divisions from time to time. Perform other duties as assigned.
