JOB OBJECTIVE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Tactical Buyer to support day-to-day purchasing activities and ensure timely availability of materials and services.
This role is responsible for executing purchase orders, managing supplier relationships at the operational level and resolving supply issues to
support production and business continuity.
The Tactical Buyer works closely with Material Management, Planning and Strategic Sourcing to translate demand into effective procurement actions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Economic/Engineering or a related field2–5 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement or Supply Chain OperationsStrong understanding of tactical/operational buying processesStrong proficiency in EnglishExperience working with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle,…)Experience with commercial contracts and supplier risk managementStrong analytical and negotiation skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and within a teamAt Thales we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
