Ecolab is looking for a TA Market Intelligence, & Insights Analyst that will focuses on generating, interpreting, and making actionable recommendations based on both external and internal talent data and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in market research, data analysis, and strategic planning, as well as experience in developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to provide insights and recommendations on key TA and external talent metrics and trends. You will work to understand internal TA and broader Ecolab stakeholder needs, and provide actionable data and insights, recommendations, and solutions. You will have the opportunity to work on global, cross-functional initiatives aimed at creating mechanisms and processes for providing important data, insights, and intelligence that influence talent acquisition decision making and outcomes.
What You Will Do
Market Intelligence:
Conduct comprehensive market research using advanced data-mining and digital research techniques to identify talent pools and emerging employment trendsAnalyze external talent data using statistical and analytical methods to provide insights on competitor activities, talent availability, and industry shiftsDevelop and maintain dynamic talent maps and visualized talent intelligence to support strategic hiring initiativesCollaborate with the Talent Acquisition team and key stakeholders to understand talent needs and provide data-driven recommendationsPrepare detailed reports and presentations on market intelligence findingsMonitor and report on labor market conditions, including mergers, acquisitions, layoffs, and other relevant eventsUtilize innovative search techniques and competitive intelligence tools to support identification of passive candidatesData and Analytics:
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI and VisierBuild processes to aggregate, cleanse, and transform data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets), ensuring accuracy and consistencyApply advanced analytics—including trend analysis, forecasting, and data visualization—to deliver insights on key TA metrics and trendsCommunicate data insights using storytelling techniques tailored to TA and contingent labor audiencesPartner with HR teams to enhance data sources, analytic models, and visualization capabilitiesMaintain knowledge of external metrics, people analytics trends, and benchmarking to drive best practices within TA and workforce planningMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Economics, Data Science, or related field5 years of experience in market research, data analysis, strategic planning, or business intelligenceProficiency using BI tools (Power BI, Visier, Tableau, or similar) and strong experience with data visualization and report automationStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and present actionable insightsAdvanced technology/systems skills, including Excel (Power Query, advanced formulas, or VBA), PowerPoint, and modern web-based applicationsPreferred Qualifications:
