T2 Desktop Support Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team. This role is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide first and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
+ Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Mac operating systems and applications.
+ Support Office 365, Active Directory, and other enterprise tools.
+ Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
+ Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including hardware setup and account provisioning.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of issues, solutions, and procedures in the ticketing system.
+ Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams or vendors.
+ Monitor and maintain IT inventory and asset tracking.
+ Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.
Qualifications:
+ 2–4 years of experience in desktop or technical support roles.
+ Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments.
+ Experience with Office 365, Active Directory, and remote support tools.
+ Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
+ CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
+ Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, Freshservice).
+ Knowledge of VPNs, remote desktop tools, and mobile device management (MDM).
+ Exposure to ITIL practices and service desk operations.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
