We are seeking an experienced Systems Test Engineer to join our dynamic team of technical professionals. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems support team in San Antonio, TX.
This position is contingent upon contract award, obtaining customer funding, and holding final clearances prior to start date.
What you'll get to do:
Develop and execute test plans and procedures using the testing tools to ensure all acceptance criteria are met and the software quality conforms to established policy and standards.
Work in a team environment utilizing Agile processes to automate test cases and procedures for functional and non-functional domains, solving the most complex escalated issues
Participate in agile ceremonies and interface with the agile team(s) and other program staff as required.
Improve our continuous delivery pipeline, ensuring that we can roll out frequent, robust releases
Basic Qualifications for Systems Test Engineer:
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience, Master's degree with 0 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related technical fields; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
U.S. Citizenship required
A current/active DoD Top Secret clearance w/ SCI eligibility
Experience writing automated test scripts
Experience with System Testing
Familiarity with CI/CD principles
Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems & Virtual Machines (VMs)
Familiarity with testing principals, best practices, and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience performing test events in a continuous integration environment
Experience with network and cloud testing
Experience with containerization of software services (Docker, Kubernetes)
Primary Level Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
