Systems test & integration engineer
Description
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Performs integration and test on TRL and MRL 4-8 systems
Performs analyses at all levels of product (combined hardware & software product) lifecycle: concept, design, assembly, system, test, operation, and maintenance
Leads creation and maintenance of integration and test documentation
Experience with Root Cause Analysis process
Experience with a production and configuration management environment
Experience with basis of estimate/proposal efforts
Interpreting Data
Vehicle testing data
Skills
Systems engineering, Test engineering, Test plan, Test development, matlab simulink, MBSE, jira, confluence, integration testing
Additional Skills & Qualifications
9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a government clearance

Experience with a multi-discipline, engineering background such as Systems Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Aerospace, Robotics, etc.
Experience with requirements management
Experience with JAMA
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink for Model Based Design, Simulation and Data Analysis.
Experience with Atlassian tool suite (e.g., JIRA/Confluence)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $61.50 - $71.50/hr.
