Systems Superintendent, Infrastructure
Ledcor is seeking an experienced Systems Superintendent to join our Infrastructure division, leading the delivery of specialized Light Rail Transit (LRT) systems on the Capital Line South Extension (CLSE) project. This role will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the installation of all systems scopes on the project. This includes Right-of-Way Electrical (RoWE), Overhead Contact System (OCS), Traction Power Substations (TPS), Communications, and Signaling systems. You will ensures safe, high-quality, and on-schedule delivery by managing interfaces with multiple contractors, trade teams, and support groups.

Essential Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day field coordination of systems installations, including PDCs, poles, switchgear, bungalows, cabling, and equipmentReview and validate shop drawings and field submittals for constructability and compliance with site conditionsEnforce a zero-harm safety culture—conduct daily safety briefings, site inspections, and toolbox talksManage Site Queries (RFIs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) compliance; drive corrective actions in the fieldCoordinate interfaces with WPE, Wabtec, and CPPLead daily planning meetings, weekly coordination sessions, and milestone inspections with contractors and support teamsMentor and collaborate with the Field Coordinator to ensure accurate field documentation, material tracking, and survey updatesProvide regular progress updates to project leadership and client representatives

Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years of construction experience, including systems or electrical rail infrastructure projectsStrong knowledge of power distribution, signalling, communications, and catenary systemsProven leadership in multi-contractor environments and interface managementExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalDemonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and field leadershipProficient with project control tools (Aconex, Smartsheets, or similar)Able to read and interpret design drawings, specifications, and technical submittalsDiploma/degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred
