The Opportunity
This role supports critical IT shop floor software applications that enable manufacturing operations, including environmental monitoring, statistical process control, and shop floor data collection. You will partner closely with business users and IT teams to ensure systems are stable, scalable, and delivering meaningful business value.
What You’ll Work On
Provide day‑to‑day application support for shop floor systems, including incident, work order, and change request management through ITSM
Partner with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional system solutions
Support system administration activities such as application maintenance, master data management, patching, and troubleshooting
Assist with system expansions and ongoing maintenance, including data ingestion from shop floor instrumentation
Support system validation activities, including test case execution, system configuration, and validation documentation
Contribute technical expertise to implementation initiatives and larger projects, supporting project and program managers as needed
Assist manufacturing teams with hardware and software solutions related to testing or measurement challenges
Deliver user training sessions and develop system support and knowledge documentation
Provide guidance and oversight to less experienced staff members
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
4–7 years of relevant IT or application support experience
At least 1 year of shop floor application support experience within a manufacturing environment
Experience with SQL and analytics tools
Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision while coordinating with technical and business stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems, including Proficient SPC MI
Experience with environmental monitoring and shop floor data collection systems
Familiarity with system validation in regulated or controlled manufacturing environments
Prior experience supporting or contributing to cross‑functional IT projects

The base pay for this position is $78,000.00 – $156,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
