What you'll do:

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer to test and automate UI and API features across our Mist product line. In this position, you will develop deep product knowledge and take ownership of key QA tasks, including staging smoke tests, production validation, and regression test automation. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, improve test plans, automate test cases, help resolve customer issues, and write clear documentation.

 

This is an onsite position and requires commuting to the office 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Test, validate, and automate Web GUI and REST API functionality in the Mist Cloud platform to ensure software quality for every release cycleUnderstand and analyze the Mist UI and API architecture to suggest and implement improvements for enhanced design and system robustnessLog, track, and manage defects and enhancements, collaborating closely with developers for prompt resolutionMaintain and update test plans to support regression testing and expand automated test coverageBuild, monitor, and maintain test environments to ensure reliable automation execution and reporting of test resultsWrite and maintain clear technical documentation for QA and Support teamsCollaborate with the Customer Success team to review and investigate customer-reported defects, reproduce customer issues, and enhance regression test coverage to prevent recurrenceManage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

 

What you need to bring:

5+ years of relevant QA or software testing experienceBE/ME/MS in CS or related disciplineProficiency in Python programming languageExperience with Selenium and pytest frameworksStrong written and verbal communication skillsSolid problem-solving abilities and collaborative mindsetAbility to clearly communicate project status and identify risksStrong interpersonal skillsStrong programming fundamentals

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with UI and API troubleshootingDemonstrated ability to take initiative and be resourceful in problem-solvingExperience writing detailed regression test casesFamiliarity with Django RESTful APIComfortable working across teams in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge in networking technologies

 

Other Information:

Must be able to join team meetings three times a week during early or late hours to support international teams and customersThis is an onsite positionNo travel required for this role
