HPE Hybrid Cloud, we lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Working with customers, we help them reimagine their information technology needs to deliver a simple, consumable solution that helps them drive their business results. What you'll do:
Champion customer‑focused testing practices, ensuring the customer’s perspective influences product quality and decision‑making.Design, implement, and execute robust test strategies for HPE storage offerings and integrated solutions.Rapidly gain expertise in external applications and validate integration feasibility with HPE storage products.Collaborate with Customer Engineering, Product Management and Development teams to understand features and come up with quick completion forAnalyze test results, debug failures, and drive issues to closure by working across QA, product management, and support teams.Provide input to functional and design specifications; contribute to design documentation.Influence product quality by identifying coverage gaps, raising defects, and shifting testing upstream.Document test strategies, workflows, and results; provide clear recommendations to engineering and leadership.Execute and lead project teams of testers, driving collaboration with internal and outsourced partners to ensure delivery of cost‑effective, high‑quality validation solutions.Represent the testing team in all phases of larger, complex development projects and mentor less‑experienced engineers.What you need to bring:
Education and Experience Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.Typically 5-8 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.Knowledge and Skills
Expertise in Storage protocols(FC, ISCSI, NFS, SMB and S3 )Hands‑on experience with cloud, storage, and networking technologies, including Kubernetes and related ecosystemsProficiency in virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, KVM) and enterprise backup solutions.Expertise in multiple software testing tools, frameworks, and languages.Advanced scripting skills (Python, Shell) for automation and efficiency.Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems for multi‑platform validation.Experience with industry‑standard tools (JIRA, test management platforms, S3 IO writing tools).Experience with Analytics and AI Application simulation and workload generation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to defect detection and resolution.Experience testing software systems across multiple platform types.Proficiency in software testing methodologies, including test plan design, execution, debugging, and automation scripting.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate test strategies, defect reports, and negotiate quality standards at management levels.Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to enhance productivity and testing workflows.Curiosity and adaptability to explore emerging technologies and apply them to enterprise‑grade solutions.Additional Skills:
