Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Integration Engineer with a strong background in edge computing hardware/software integration, particularly in avionics or similar domains. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of networking systems, NSA certification processes, and system requirements flow-down or system modeling. This role involves working in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment supporting national security initiatives.

ResponsibilitiesLead and support the integration of edge computing systems, including hardware and software components, into avionics or similar platforms.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system interoperability and performance.Develop and manage system requirements, ensuring traceability and compliance throughout the development lifecycle.Apply system modeling techniques to support design decisions and validate system behavior.Support and guide NSA certification processes, including documentation, testing, and compliance activities.Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues across hardware, software, and network layers.Provide technical input during design reviews, risk assessments, and system validation efforts.Essential SkillsActive U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in systems integration, with a focus on edge computing and embedded systems.Proven experience in avionics or similar high-reliability environments.Strong understanding of networking systems, protocols, and architectures.Familiarity with NSA certification processes and security compliance standards.Experience with system requirements flow-down and/or system modeling tools (e.g., SysML, MagicDraw, Cameo).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux.Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure system design.Familiarity with MIL-STD, DO-178C, or similar standards.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Work Environment

The role involves working in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment supporting national security initiatives. The work environment is dynamic, requiring adaptability and a high level of security clearance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $170000.00/hr.
