The successful candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary engineering team contributing to the development of operational prototype hardware, spanning the full program life cycle from concept development to fielding and test. The position may require special security clearances and the ability to work across programs to ensure efficient model leverage across the product line. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or math field, with 4 years of experience + Active SECRET security clearance + Programming skills in C/C or Python or MATLAB. + Capable of learning/using version control systems (Git, Gitlab) + Experience with modern numerical simulation tools for 6-DOF simulation is highly desired. + Experience programming in Python, MATLAB, and software development environments + The ability to work in interdisciplinary teams **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Masters degree in science, technology, engineering, or math field, with 4 years of experience + Active TOP SECRET security clearance + Demonstrated skills in scientific writing and/or development and presentation of technical materials to varied audiences including the ability to clearly present concepts to a wide spectrum of audiences are required. + Experience with computational fluid dynamics + The ability to clearly communicate results in oral presentations and written reports **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $97008 - $164914 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
