The Opportunity:
Be part of a fast-paced counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) mission that makes a difference to the warfighter on a daily basis. You will be exposed to stakeholders that develop requirements and deliver new capabilities, while working on projects to enable learning the various missions and systems engineering principles and skills.
You will get to be part of a team of fun and energized engineers and culture of sharing information amongst teammates working within a product family to field tactical SIGINT collection systems to the DoD.
The internship will begin in May and last for 12 weeks. You will be expected to work 100% on-site in the Sterling, VA office.
Responsibilities:
Support various projects across US Navy and Air Force teamInput supplied information to generate/update requirements documentation, system diagrams, timeline diagrams, etc.Analyze and review current software and related documentation. i.e. specifications, requirements, interface documents, test documentsAssist in preparing documentation to change existing programsWork directly with the test team to familiarize yourself with current capabilities and get hands-on experiencePerform analysis tools development; including the coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation maintenance of basic programs that are designed to assist with data analysis practicesQualifications:
Required:
Currently working toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related fieldMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureAbility to obtain and maintain applicable security clearanceStrong academic credentialsTeamwork skillsInterpersonal communication skillsFamiliarity with hardware or software tools at an appropriate academic level Ability to work on the computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email, and face-to-face

The proposed salary range for this position is:
