The Siemens DI Sales organization ideally focuses on providing solutions tailored to the specific needs of companies operating across a multitude of discrete, process, and hybrid industries. The Xcelerator Deployment organization plays a crucial role in understanding needs of forward-thinking customers, positioning Siemens as a technology leader to drive digital transformation today and tomorrow for and with our customers, aligning the value of innovative and evolving Siemens solutions with customer pain points, and deploying a combination of existing, evolving and exploring product portfolio elements (HW, SW, Services) as functional solutions at customer sites, continuously learning and constantly improving.As we embark on an ambitious journey of digital transformation, we are seeking a dynamic Systems Engineer to spearhead our Digital Transformation Pioneering & Deployment team. This pivotal role is at the heart of our mission to redefine our Industrial Operations X Innovation Portfolio and develop and deploy novel Enterprise Solution Architectures with innovation customers and partners, driving innovation through digital excellence and collaboration.
We are looking for a Systems Engineer – Infrastructure -Xcelerator Deployment. This position is remotely based in the United States.
You’ll make an impact by:Execute technical incubation and validation of deployment projects, working closely with cross-functional teams and external integration partners to ensure timely and successful implementation. Support the rollout of novel solutions at customers, driving customer success and adoption Design and implement industrial edge computing solutions for real-time data processing and analysis Integrate AI-powered systems with existing industrial infrastructure Deploy and configure Copilot solutions for industrial automation Develop and maintain SCADA system integrations Create intuitive UI/UX designs for industrial control interfaces Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build user-centric front ends for manufacturing, energy, or process systems using platforms like JavaScript/TypeScript, WinCC Unified, Mendix, and Figma—bridging the worlds of industrial HMI/SCADA and modern UI design. Translate wireframes and user flows from Figma into scalable frontend code that complies with industrial UX principles. Integrate frontend UIs with backend industrial systems, such as PLC/SCADA, edge devices, or MES platforms. Participate in user research, task analysis, and HMI/UX validation in industrial contexts. Contribute to UI frameworks, component libraries, and reusable design assets tailored for industrial use. You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, human-computer interact (HCI) or related field3-5 years of experience in systems or infrastructure engineering, industrial or embedded environments 3-5 years of Systems & Application Engineering, technical consulting, assessment, and customer co-innovation experience incl. proof of concepts, defining requirements and scope, as well as hands-on deployment projects. 3-5 years of hands-on experience in implementing complex automation solutions involving 3-5 years of experience with Industrial Edge computing platforms 3-5 years of experience in AI/ML deployment in industrial settings 3-5 years of experience with industrial data integration using protocols like MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus, or similar 3–5 years of professional experience in frontend/UI development, preferably in an industrial, manufacturing, or process environment. 3-5 years of experience using JavaScript (and/or TypeScript), HTML, CSS, and associated frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Svelte). 3-5 years of experience with hands-on experience developing with WinCC Unified (Comfort or PC), and optionally Mendix or low-code platforms. 3-5 years of experience in using Figma or similar design tools, with a good eye for layout, typography, and interaction design. 3-5 years of experience with Siemens Industrial UX/IX guidelines, ISA-101 HMI standards, or other domain-specific usability norms. 3-5 years of experience in understanding of responsive design, HMI usability in control rooms or shop floors, and performance optimization for rugged environments. Willingness and ability to travel 25% (domestic/international). Must currently reside in the continental USA. Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States and will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and managing industrial infrastructure. Exposure to design systems, component libraries, or human factors in automation. Experience with scripting or logic integration inside SCADA/HMI platforms. Background in industrial automation, process control, or a related engineering discipline. Ability to provide a portfolio of UI/UX projects. You’ll benefit from:

The pay range for this position is $89,670-$184,320 + an annual incentive target. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
