As a Subsea Systems Engineer, you will be challenged to lead Front End Engineering & Development studies, where you will give support to projects and support technology development at a system coordination level. You will also support execution of subsea projects. You will be supporting the regional sales and commercial teams, interacting with Customers providing technical expertise during early engagement activities.
As a Subsea Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Executing System design to proposals and projects.Reporting of progress, technical and interface matters in project meetings and progress reports of assigned tasks and CTRs.Defining system layout from concept definition phase to FEED, detail engineering and execution phases of a subsea project.Defining and preparing functional specifications for subsea system building blocks such as Trees, Controls, Wellhead connections, Manifolds, and Flowlines.Acting or supporting the study manager with technical interface, change control, technical variations, and general delivery of the scope.Providing system design input to large subsea project proposals and equipment contracts.Liaising with clients on a technical level to ensure their needs are being met and ensuring they are aware of the data input requirements to allow the study to proceed on-schedule.Supporting the OFE sales and commercial organization in identifying and pursuing opportunities related to early engagement or invitations to tender.Assisting in the preparation of proposals as part of a proposals team or technical peer checker.

To be successful in this role you will:
Have a MSc or BSc degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Controls Engineering or equivalent as required with extensive experience in a similar role.Have broad knowledge of processes, methods and procedures within project and engineering management.Have proven experience in front-end design activities, covering concept, pre-FEED and FEED studies.Have proven experience in design and selection across one or more of the following: Field architecture / Flow assurance / System Analysis / Interface Management / Requirement Management / Process engineering / Subsea Production Systems / Risers, flowlines and pipelines / Control systems / Constructability and installation.Have demonstrable depth of experience in project engineering within a multi-disciplinary environment.Be available to travel internationally for project needs and for short term assignments.
