**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Systems Engineer Manager** to join our team in **Washington, D.C** . **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Manages daily operations in the department responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure. + Ensures that hardware and/or software are designed and installed in a manner that meets the needs of the organization. + Monitors systems performance and provides recommendations as required. + Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. + Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering. + 10+ years of relevant experience. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with the US Navy, including on active duty, government civilian, or support contractor. + Experience working with technical authority (e.g., NAVSEA 05). + Experience working with US Navy Program Managers in an analyst role. **Clearance Requirements:** + Must hold an active Top Secret clearance. **Physical Requirements:** + The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. + Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
