The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior or Lead Systems Engineer embedded within the Mission Systems (MS) IPT on a DOD propriety program in Albuquerque, NM. The position will be working with specialty engineers (electrical, mechanical, optical and project) and systems engineers to operationalize complex electro-optical technologies.
Position Responsibilities:
Supports systems and multi-disciplined engineers in defining requirements, developing trade studies, performing analyses, and controlling associated data and information.
Develops, documents and maintains subsystem(s) requirements defined by contract deliverables requirements lists (CDRLs).
Develop work packages and technical performance specifications for complex subsystems.
Develops hardware and/or software designs and interface control documents (ICDs), showing traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
Develops, plans and executes tests to validate system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
9+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
Experience with hardware and/or software requirements development, decomposition and documentation of complex systems or subsystems.
Experience in developing, integrating and testing components/subcomponents of complex systems or subsystems.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Active top-secret clearance.
Experience with complex electro-optical and/or optomechanical systems.
Experience with requirements management tools, including experience with model based. system engineering (MBSE) development practices.
Experience with data analysis of system data.
Experience with configuration and data management tools.
Experience working with agile project management tools.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for lead (level 4): $119,850 - $162,150
Summary pay range for senior(level 5): $147,050 - $198,950
