Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
Experience with Windows or Linux environment system administration (e.g., active directory, domain setup and management)
Experience with virtualized and containerized environment architecture, setup, administration and deployment (e.g., vSphere, Proxmox, RHEL KVM, OpenShift)
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with tools such as Rancher, OpenShift, or EKS for managing Kubernetes clusters
Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and deployment, automation, and monitoring
Experience deploying applications in a production environment
Knowledge of network-attached storage (NAS) solutions.
Strong scripting and automation skills, with experience using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Understanding of security principles and protocols, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and vulnerability management.
Familiarity with virtual and containerized infrastructure security best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential vulnerabilities and threats
Experience implementing and maintaining compliance controls
ISSO Security+ Certification is required
An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
Familiarity setting up active directory and domain controllers and group policy management.
Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and SSL/TLS
Experience with distributed file systems and understanding of data replication techniques
Experience with log management and analysis tools
Experience with security testing tools
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
Experience with cloud platforms.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Experience with agile development methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Experience working with Jira and Confluence
CISA or CASP+ Certification

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
