BAE Systems, Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line within the Precision Strike (PS) Business Area has an immediate opening for an experienced Systems Engineer specializing in support to our production efforts in our Terminal High Area Altitude Defense (THAAD) Missile Seeker program. This position will support production program activities, including the interfacing with the production staff, understanding the system requirements, creating and reviewing reports and streamlining processes. This position has growth opportunities to support failure analysis efforts including running tests in support of troubleshooting and driving root cause on failures. Candidates should be comfortable working with teams of all sizes and enjoy a mix of creative design work, mentoring the next generation of proteges, developing White Papers, presenting internally and externally, and leading test events. At BAE Systems, cultural and behavioral principles are a special part of our engineering organization, which means we are looking for team players who have demonstrated experience working successfully in group settings and will support our commitment to diversity and inclusion. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Experience in working with production and engineering teams. + Experience running Seeker Test Stands in a production or engineering environment. + Ability to communicate effectively with peers, senior leadership, and other functional disciplines such as Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, along with Project Management Officers + Excellent organizational & time management skills + Understanding Acceptance Test Processes and Procedures + Experience with Matlab and Oracle. + Familiarity with failure analysis activities, Failure Review Board process, to include ability to drive to root cause and the corrective actions for the particular failures being monitored. + Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science + An active Secret clearance is required for this position **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Experience with missile systems and guided projectiles + Exposure to the development, integration, test, qualification and production of complex electro/mechanical systems **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $77809 - $132275 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
