SUMMARY AutoZone is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to be part of front-end development teams in developing our Commercial e-commerce platform. Our Commercial business is a significant growth driver for AutoZone, and technology plays a crucial role in enabling that growth. As a Front-End Systems Engineer, in this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance web applications using React. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences and robust frontend architectures. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain complex, responsive web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript Architect and implement reusable components and frontend systems Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality code Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability Integrate with RESTful APIs Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging Ensuring scalability, performance and reliability of large-scale cloud and On-prem application & infrastructure. Support new features, scaling, automation and self-healing processes for sites and systems Identify and Implement code/configuration changes to improve performance and reliability as necessary Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or closely related required. Typically requires 4+ years' of experience in the role of a Software Engineer or similar utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks, especially React.js. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3. understanding of web performance optimization, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles. Experience in Supporting high volume ecommerce applications. Experience with monitoring tools (DynaTrace/Splunk/ELK/APM, etc.) is must. Ability to quickly troubleshoot critical production issues spanning applications/infrastructure and tune high volume online applications. Experience working with CDN providers like Akamai and Bot management is highly desired Hands on experience using version control tools such as Git or similar is must. Strong ability to collaborate and openly communicate cross-functionally, particularly with Operations teams. Strong work ethic, high sense of urgency, driven, self-motivated, highly accountable with initiative and passion. Experience working/supporting application in GCP is preferred.
