Ruckus Networks a CommScope BU is seeking a **Distribution/National Partner Systems Engineer** to lead technical engagement with our most strategic North American distribution and national partners.
**How You'll help us connect the world:**
In this role, you’ll be the trusted technical advisor—educating, enabling, and empowering partners to deliver cutting-edge connectivity solutions. You’ll co-develop technical business plans, drive partner certifications, support post-sales service models, and lead enablement initiatives that fuel growth and deepen relationships.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Participate in the creation of Distribution/National Partner account plans by providing input on market technical demands.
+ Involved in the pre-sales engineering designs, Bill of Material creation, and technical training of RUCKUS focused individuals and the larger group of distribution sales teams, settings as required.
+ Define solution options and articulate the benefits of a Ruckus solution.
+ Present technical components of Ruckus solutions to customers.
+ Provide distribution technical leads with technical information and guidance for known fixes, workarounds.
+ Understand internetworking industry trends, including new products and solutions and the competitive product and solution landscape.
**Requirements:**
+ Foundational knowledge of SE technical skills; including, 802.11 a/g/n/ac/ax, wireless predictive heat maps, wireless troubleshooting, wireless network optimization, IP networking, OSI model, including Layer 1-3.
+ Foundational knowledge of the IP, VLANs, VoIP; wired and wired technologies.
+ Effective technical presentation skills.
+ Strong verbal and written communications skills.
+ Experience in the innerworkings of the Distribution Channel, their capabilities and structure is highly desired
+ Up to 50% travel will be possible.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Undergraduate or graduate degree (BS/BA minimum) or equivalent experience in the Networking industry.
+ Minimum 3-4 years of experience working with IP technologies.
+ Foundational IP networking background in Switching, Routing, Wireless technologies & Secure Access protocols (VLANs, STP, OSPF, RIP, BGP, Multicast, MPLS, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, 802.1x etc.).
+ Ruckus product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings.

**This role is open to candidates located in the Eastern U.S., specifically east of the Mississippi River.**

Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. This position's expected total compensation (base salary and commission range) is $112,000.00-$190,000.00
The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan. Candidates starting with the Company will be eligible for eleven paid holidays in a full calendar year, two weeks of paid vacation (prorated based on start date), as well as other leave options.
