The Thales Defence Mission Systems Domain is a leading provider of integrated mission solutions to surface ships and submarines, and is the No.1 Naval fleet support and technical services company in Australia. It is also a specialist in the upgrade of naval vessels providing systems and platforms integration capabilities. The Systems Engineer will be part of a diverse team of engineers, technicians, production staff and management involved in the In-Service Support (ISS) of Collins class submarine and more broadly provide project and business operations support to the Undersea Warfare business sector of Under Water Systems in Australia. Specifically, performing system engineering related tasks to maintain and support the Scylla sonars and associated equipment and systems.

Prior to being offered employment, you will need to complete pre-employment police and (role dependent) medical checks. A Defence security clearance is required for this role; applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
