Experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer, acting as a trusted advisor and security specialist Highly dkilled delivering high-impact presentations, demonstrations, and technical workshops Clearly articulate Fortinet's value proposition accordingly of the customer vertical and needs. Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) engagements, including planning, deployment, testing, and documentation. Solid understanding in security solutions for Public Cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, Alibaba, GPC, etc. Solid understanding in Software as a Service solutions environment, protection, orchestration or multi-vendor integrated deployment. Highly Experienced in Cybersecurity Frameworks like NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP, Cyber Kill Chain. Exceptional skillset in networking/security solutions, such as Routing & Switching solutions & Protocols, VPN Technologies, Firewall, SDWAN, Reconnaissance Techniques, UEBA, application security, Email Security, SASE, Zero Trust Access, Threat Intelligence (EDR/XDR), NGSOC Solid understanding in the following technologies and protocols: RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, IPSEC, 802.1Q, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES Highly Experienced with authentication and Identity Management (LDAP, RADIUS, SAML, OAuth, MFA)

 

Job duties and responsibilities:

Pre-sales - assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint. Collaborative work with Sales Representative to understand customer requirements and design solutions. Effectively carry out presales function in solution offerings (proposal, demo, positioning, presenting, etc.). Lead all technical aspects of a sales cycle with the customer, from the initial RFIs, through to RFPs & RFQs when required. Actively participate in preparing tender documents and proposals, RFPs, RFIs and POC demo. Sales calls - be the main technical resource on sales calls and answer/ educate the customer on issues ranging from features, specifications and functionality to integration. Conversant with networking applications and solutions. Understudy customer requirements, environment and challenges and able to propose/provide security solution design and implementation solutions to clients Collaborate with Professional Services and Support teams to ensure smooth project handover. Offer post-sales assistance and following, for escalations and customer satisfaction, to answer, elevate and resolve customer's technical issues.
