The Opportunity:
Join KBR’s Land Systems Division and play a key role in delivering the next generation of Armoured Fighting Vehicle capability for Defence Capability. As a Systems Engineer you will support projects that integrate and sustain advanced C4I and EMI systems across protected mobility and combat platforms.
This role offers exposure to cutting-edge Defence technology including battle management systems, secure comms, electronic warfare, and interoperability solutions. You’ll work alongside various stakeholders to keep complex programs on track and aligned with operational requirements.
All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a NV1 Clearance or above should apply.
Responsibilities:
+ Participate in engineering design reviews and contribute to engineering change and configuration management processes.
+ Support the integration and sustainment of C4I systems across armoured vehicle fleets, including communications, battle management, navigation, and situational awareness tools.
+ Assist in the integration of mechanical, electrical, and mission systems, including weapons, protection, and C4I sub-systems.
+ + Contribute to the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements management, verification & validation, and risk/issue tracking.
+ Prepare project documentation including status reports, meeting packs, and stakeholder briefs.
+ Liaise with internal and external stakeholders across Defence, primes, and industry partners to support the delivery of capability outcomes.
+ Support configuration management, schedule tracking, and procurement activities related to C4I and EMI projects.
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
+ A degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
+ Demonstrated experience working within Defence acquisition, ILS, or systems engineering environments.
+ Exposure to C4I integration and/or EMI testing and certification.
+ Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
+ Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams supporting complex programs of national significance.
+ Current NV1 Defence security clearance (minimum).
