Job Description:
We are seeking a highly capable Systems Engineer to support the development and integration of complex systems within a multidisciplinary engineering environment. This role involves early-phase systems engineering activities including requirement decomposition, block diagram development, and trade studies, with active participation in major design reviews such as SRR, PDR, and CDR.
The engineer will collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Systems Engineering teams and contribute significantly to model-based systems engineering (MBSE) efforts. While not the primary presenter, the candidate will be a key contributor to technical content and review preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Research and analyze system architectures, block diagrams, and requirements
+ Conduct trade studies and present findings to technical leads for review
+ Support MBSE modeling and development of technical presentation materials
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive system design
+ Participate in design reviews including SRR, PDR, and CDR
+ Contribute to requirement synthesis and system-level integration
Required Skills:
+ Strong background in Systems Engineering and design methodologies
+ Proficiency in Java, C++, and Python
+ Experience with MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw)
+ Familiarity with DOORS, JAMA, and product lifecycle management
+ Aerospace or aircraft systems experience
+ Active Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Configuration and Status Management (CSM) experience
+ Strong analytical and documentation skills
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $110.00/hr.
