You will be responsible for all technical aspects throughout the lifecycle of the project; covering architecture, design, integration, Test and Acceptance of New Product Initiatives for safety critical complex systems. Reporting directly to the Production control systems Engineering Manager, you will work in a high-profile function of Baker Hughes, supporting the introduction of new technology.
As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Supporting the design and development of Subsea Controls system using a Systems Engineering-based approached and conducting requirements management and analysis activitiesDelivering updates to system model, Creating and maintaining requirement specifications, Production of design review material and Functional Design SpecificationAssessing and categorizing new technology and products to satisfy requirements and overall system design intentConducting derivation of system features for incorporation within the design, as well as definition and documentation of system interfaces and of the System Service TaxonomySupporting the definition of the Verification & Validation for the project and support the generation of design verification evidenceUnderstanding and implementation of Material selection and Corrosion protection Philosophy suitable for the target environmentEnsuring designs mature in a controlled manner through the use a robust technical change control and impact assessment processSupporting the definition and delivery of the System Integration, Test, and Acceptance phasesFuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college Have Stems Engineering experience using ISO-15288 or equivalent processes Have minimum 3 years of technical management experience within the System Engineering disciplineHave experience in Engineering Project ManagementFamiliar with the Subsea Control SystemPossess technical expertise of technologies associated with communications and large-scale enterprise management systemsPossess technical expertise of technologies associated with control systemsWork in a way that works for you
