SUMMARY We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer who is proficient in both maintaining and upgrading existing systems as well as designing and deploying new technologies, all while complying with best practices and aligning with desired business objectives. The ideal candidate will operate effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. Key qualifications include: • Strong work ethic and self-motivation. • Experience managing environments with over 1,000 users. • Proven track record of contributing to complex projects with aggressive timelines. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with new technologies as needed • Ability to participate on a 24/7 Rotational On-Call Support For this opening, the Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design and ongoing support of the Microsoft 365 productivity suite and software technologies. This role will focus on proactive management, configuration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft 365 services across relevant modules to ensure seamless user experiences and optimal performance. This may include but is not limited to: • Microsoft Exchange Online & Microsoft Exchange hybrid on premises • Microsoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, & Microsoft OneDrive for Business • Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) • Microsoft EntraID, Microsoft M365 Security, & Microsoft Intune ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of Microsoft 365 updates, new features, advancements, and enhancements. Recommend and implement improvements to optimize the use of Microsoft 365 services. Participating in the planning and implementation of M365 technologies • Experience with Microsoft 365 migrations, MFA onboarding, EntraID Connect Implementation • Maintains documentation, technical schematics, and configurations for proper record of systems design and recovery purposes • Implements strategic application and security designs while following best practices • Ensures maintenance of current environment and lifecycle management • Prepares technical designs, project plans, schedule, resource, and financial estimates • Works in large-scale infrastructure projects • Researches, develops, and implements new technologies and automations to drive efficiencies • Resolves Level 2 and Level 3 incidents and requests EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience • 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft 365 services with advanced knowledge in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, EntraID, and Exchange Online • 7+ years of experience and deep understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and supporting infrastructure technologies. • Demonstrated experience with on-premises to M365 hybrid integration/migrations for over 1000 users • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong scripting/automation skills such as PowerShell. • Experience managing projects and communicating effectively with technical and non-technical users • Experience in vendor management and technology evaluation process • Demonstrated solid written and oral communication skills. • Solid analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and fact-based decision-making abilities. • Solid self-awareness and a willingness to grow professional and technical skills • Proven ability to work in a complex, fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment • Ability to work on-call or non-standard business hours as needed • Industry certifications preferred (Microsoft, VMware) • ITIL certification or working knowledge

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
