**Job Description**
As a member of the Safran Seats business, you play a major role in teamwork that provides over one million seats to major airlines worldwide. 1. Occupational Summary (Position Objective & Authorities)
Objective:
Under close supervision, assist in managing product requirements and specifications during the product development cycle. Support validation and verification activities to help ensure requirements are met. Work with team members to understand customer and stakeholder needs and help define basic system performance and integration requirements.
2. Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)
A) Assist in documenting requirements for engineering projects to ensure they are clear and traceable.
B) Support the collection and organization of requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
C) Participate in requirements reviews with team members and subject matter experts.
D) Assist in tracking verification and validation tasks to support project timelines and goals.
E) Assist in preparing product verification plans under guidance from senior team members.
F) Provide updates on the status of requirements and validation activities as needed.
G) Assist in creating and updating product specification documents.
H) Work with the engineering team to document changes when project scope or requirements change.
I) Assist in reviewing change requests and documenting their impact on existing requirements.
J) Performs other duties as assigned.
**Job Requirements**
3. Qualification Requirements
A. Education & Qualification-
• Must have a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Material Science, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, or 12 years equivalent related experience in lieu of degree.
B. Work Experience - Technical knowledge-
• Preferred 1 year of experience in an engineering-related field, Systems Engineering, Requirements Management or Requirements Validation and Verification.
C. Professional Skills-
• Willing to learn how to translate product requirements into product specifications and assist with creating compliance matrices under guidance.
• Basic ability to read and understand 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models, with support from senior team members.
• Able to create simple written communications (e.g., emails, reports) and use standard office equipment (e.g., computer, printer).
• Able to read and understand basic technical documents and instructions.
• Possesses clear verbal communication skills in English to work effectively with the team.
D. Behavioral Skills-
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a team, including with team members in different locations and cultural backgrounds.
• Willing to learn and develop relationship-building skills.
• Open to working in situations where instructions may be evolving or incomplete, with guidance from others.
• Willing to support team initiatives and contribute to project goals.
• Able to manage basic tasks and assist with multiple responsibilities as needed.
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and apply structured problem-solving techniques with support.

• Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
• Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA)
• Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• DOORS, CAMEO, SIMULINK, or similar requirements management and system modeling tools.
• CATIA V5, Smarteam.
• Microsoft Office suite.
4. Travel-
Occasional domestic and/or international travel (up to 5%).
