As a Systems Design Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

Designs and implements complex system requirements for customers, ensuring hardware/software compatibility. Coordinates the design of subsystems and integrates total systems while resolving program support deficiencies. Provides technical assistance and conducts presentations to peers and customers to facilitate cooperation. Participates in the technical execution of projects with a combined value of up to $500k, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Reviews project hardware/software for compliance with applicable codes/standards and ensures safety practices are implemented.

What's Needed?

5+ years of experience in Automation in the Oil & Gas Industry. Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of experience in control systems engineering related to industrial automation systems. Proficiency in programming PLC applications and HMI applications for local and network distributed applications. Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites, including industrial plants and offshore platforms.
