This position is located in USA VA Arlington, however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
• System Design & Architecture: Leading the design and documentation of system architectures for new projects and products.
• Feasibility & Risk Analysis: Evaluating the technical feasibility and potential risks of proposed system designs.
• Technical Roadmaps: Developing and maintaining long-term technical roadmaps for system evolution and modernization.
• Scalability & Performance: Ensuring systems are designed to handle high volumes of data and traffic and perform efficiently.
• Integration & Integrity: Overseeing the initial design and ongoing integration of applications and ensuring the overall integrity of the systems.
• Technology Evaluation: Researching and assessing emerging technologies to determine their potential impact and suitability for the organization.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Providing technical guidance and mentorship to development and engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Security & Reliability: Designing and implementing measures to ensure the security, integrity, and availability of systems.
• Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicating complex technical concepts and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences, including management and end-users.
Journeyman:
• Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree and/or 2 to 5 years of experience
• Security Clearance: TS/SCI required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly highly desired
• Deep understanding of both hardware and software components.
• Broad knowledge of network design, databases, and system servers.
• Ability to translate business goals into technical solutions.
• Proficiency in various system architectures, including integrated, distributed, pooled, and converged models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
SME:
• Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree and/or 10+ years of experience
• Security Clearance: TS/SCI required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly highly desired
• Deep understanding of both hardware and software components.
• Broad knowledge of network design, databases, and system servers.
• Ability to translate business goals into technical solutions.
• Proficiency in various system architectures, including integrated, distributed, pooled, and converged models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $100,000.00 - $200000.00.
