Compensation Range Annual Salary: $70,500.00 - $83,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.) About This Job The main purpose of this job is to act in the capacity of a business and systems liaison/consultant with internal business lines and vendors to develop and implement technical solutions to business needs. The Systems Analyst serves as the subject matter expert for enterprise-wide Payments Systems lines of business (Commercial Card, Consumer Credit Card and Consumer Debit and Prepaid Cards) and functions as a technical liaison between members of project teams, including third party vendors, to research and/or implement technology solutions with business initiatives, as well as collaborate and coordinate problem solving efforts. Essential Functions + Identify and lead changes to enhance team approach to troubleshoot, resolve, apply workarounds, and ultimately apply a quality solution to resolve any technical issue + Identify problem trends and make recommendations for improvement/solution to management, such as system parameter changes, configuration and troubleshooting of terminal, PC, mainframe based digital software/hardware products, and implementation of new or modification of existing data interfaces between service providers and clients + Monitor and evaluate system activity and performance, complete quality assurance checks, provide client training, supply ad-hoc reporting through database manipulation, and facilitates mass maintenance to the systems + Lead activities and tasks necessary to drive projects to completion and ensure project objectives are met + Manage and forecast collateral inventories, monitor, and evaluate system activity and performance, complete quality assurance checks, provide client training, supply ad-hoc reporting through database manipulation, and facilitate mass maintenance to the systems + Complete system and account mass maintenance updates as required + Create and maintain system-oriented procedures + Provide operational readiness through daily monitoring, maintenance, and support of critical company systems and service providers, supporting multiple lines of business across Lending and Payments Systems + Support in identifying problem trends and make recommendations for improvement/solution to management, such as system parameter changes, configuration and troubleshooting of terminal, PC, and mainframe based digital software/hardware products, and implementation of new or modification of existing data interfaces between service providers and clients + Administer system change controls and maintain system access in test and production environments by adhering to policies/procedures and documenting all changes to include updating exiting options for credit or debit card including but not limited to terms, disclosures, user access administration, and custom plastic design + Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required + Intermediate knowledge of mainframe and web-based processing applications, technical concepts, and terminology + Intermediate understanding of file transfer protocol and practices, and line connectivity configurations preferred, as well as batch interfaces + Intermediate knowledge of credit card compliance and regulations preferred + Intermediate knowledge of AQT query tool and Structured Query Language (SQL) “sequel” statements + Intermediate understanding of environment and web service calls/API + Intermediate knowledge of TSYS card processing platform preferred + Ability to solve moderate to complex problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standards exist + Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities + Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills + Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values + Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams Education & Experience + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required + 4+ years system analysis, operations or technical project management related work experience required, preferably in bankcard systems + Bankcard operations experience strongly preferred ***For individuals applying, assigned and/or hired to work in areas with pay transparency requirements, Commerce is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for some roles.
