Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 2015 Staples Mill Rd., Richmond, VA 23230

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The Systems Analyst Advisor will define and manage the scope of Business Systems projects.

How you will make an impact: 

Define functional, usability, reliability, performance and support requirements of a system.Create and perform feature testing and determine environmental needs.Provide the link between the technical and business views of the system by ensuring that the technical solutions being developed will satisfy the needs of the business.Partner with business, architecture and infrastructure and oversee all service levels to ensure business area satisfaction.Work with the IT learning organization to mentor and assist in training initiatives and performs estimates for application functionality enhancements.Proactively work with stakeholders to identify future system opportunities and enhancements.Develop use cases.Ensure that the project team fully understand the project requirements specifications and that testing results correspond to the business expectations/needsEnsure high level designs including architecture requirements are accurately documented and map to approved requirements.Assist in developing training documentation and proactive identification of additional documentation needs.Coordinate with Customer SMEs, IT Managers, Offshore and the onsite team for Business requirement gathering/Use cases and document.Document high level business/ process flows.Apply and mentor use of tools to define requirements.Anticipate and identify opportunities for improvement.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Six (6) years of experience in related occupation(s).Six (6) years of experience in related occupation(s) must include:Six (6) years of experience in the health care insurance industry.Five (5) years of experience in Scrum, Agile, and DevOps.Five (5) years of experience working on real-time API enhancements.Five (5) years of experience in user acceptance testing and system integration testing.Four (4) years of experience developing business and technical requirements and managing the scope of business systems.Four (4) years of experience with at least 2 of the following: JIRA, Confluence, Jira Align, or Bitbucket.Four (4) years of experience building custom logic in healthcare.Three (3) years of experience with Mongo DB and Oracle.
