Kforce has a client that is seeking a Systems Analyst in Westlake, TX. This role requires a blend of technical and business expertise. It requires collaboration with IT teams, Software Engineers, and Architects. Duties: * Systems Analyst will work closely with the Engineering Lead to analyze and document Java and DB2 stored procedures and be able to discuss with our engineers how these processes work * Be expected to perform extensive code analysis and document functionality across multiple applications both API and batch based * Create supporting artifacts including diagrams, JIRA stories and confluence pages * Use your excellent written and oral communication skills to convey this information to technical audience * Work with technology partners to define the scope of problems/issues, in terms of business and/or system requirements and processes * Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements * As a Systems Analyst, you will develop diagrams, story maps, user stories, and clearly convey technical information * Evaluate design of existing systems to understand their functionality, efficiency, reliability, performance, usage, and maintainability; Document and share this information with the organization * Collaborate with Agile team members to come up with comprehensive, cohesive solutions
