**What You Will Be Doing:**
As a Penske Systems Administrator - Telecom you will coordinate the day to day activities in support of telecommunications processes. This includes legacy and VoIP system installations and field location opening/closings. You will also provide support to field and corporate departments for telecommunications related moves/adds/changes and daily operational activities.
This position can sit out of our corporate headquarters in Reading, PA.
**Penske Responsibilities:**
• Manage system infrastructure
• Monitor systems daily and respond quickly to any usability concerns
• Assist in technical upgrades including planning, scheduling, testing, and coordinating
• Analyze inventory reports from Telecommunications vendors and working with internal and external contacts to update as required
• Summarize telecommunications data from internal and external sources for monthly, quarterly, and annual Telecommunications dashboard
• Document telecommunications processes and procedures in addition to updating and creating new processes, such as updating existing workflows and building new workflows that help streamline current processes
• Participate in designing and implementing short- and long-term strategic plans to make certain infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements
• Provide “ownership” of problem through final resolution
• Plan, acquire, and coordinate installation of in-house and remote hardware and software across the organization
• Collaborates with security team in regards to data integrity
• Ensure compliance of documentation with established standards, policies, procedures, and configuration guidelines
• Participates in On Call rotation
• Place and oversee telecom orders with carriers to port services from one technology to another
**Qualifications:**
• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field. If no degree, then at least 1 years of specific (function) administration experience required.
• 1+ years’ system engineering and IT support required
• 1+ years of project management (including mid-to-large scale projects, and managing multiple projects at one time)
• Experience working in a Contact Center required, including understanding of call flow design and development
• Experience with billing processes preferred, including understanding components and services on the invoices
• Ability to respond to help desk requests after hours
• Knowledge of the relationships between local, long distance, and wireless services and Telecommunications providers
• Experience and full fluency in the following hardware/software:
- Telecommunications concepts
- Industry trends – SIP, VoIP, Contact Center platforms
- TEM (Tangoe)
- PBX's ( Avaya, Mitel, Cloud solutions)
- UCCaaS, VoIP/SIP
- Legacy Telephony systems
- Contact Center applications and call flow design
• Willingness to work in high pressure, direct revenue generating call center environments and enterprise support for PTL and PL lines of business
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required
