Job Description A client of Insight Global is bringing on a Systems Administrator to support their Office of Information Technology by managing and optimizing cloud services, server environments, and enterprise infrastructure. This role handles medium-to-high complexity projects and provides daily operational support across on‑prem and multi‑cloud systems. Skills and Requirements Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent technical/work experience) in Computer Science, IT, or related field 2–3 years experience with: • Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022 • IIS Administration • TCP/IP, DNS, Samba/CIFS, NTFS permissions • AWS cloud administration (required) 3–5 years IT experience in systems operations, support, maintenance, and administration 5–8 years experience in information systems engineering Strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues across multiple technologies Ability to manage and maintain large, multi‑cloud environments Experience with: • Middleware (API management, automation tools, batch services) • Microsoft 365 platforms • Identity & access management Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills Ability to context‑switch and operate in a fast‑paced, complex environment Strong networking and cloud architecture knowledge (AWS required; Azure highly desired) Experience with Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu), including patching and administration Experience with Microsoft Azure (highly desired) Experience with GCP (highly desired) Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines, org configuration) Experience constructing and optimizing cloud-hosted application solutions Experience with infrastructure cost optimization and refactoring Strong background in research, analysis, and solution development Experience working within matrixed teams
