We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator with a strong focus on securityvulnerability management to join our team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible
for maintaining the integrity, performance, and security of our IT infrastructure. You will
proactively identify, assess, and mitigate vulnerabilities across systems, networks, and
applications to ensure a secure and resilient environment.
This position requires a resourceful and detail-oriented professional who can troubleshoot
issues, support end-users, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective
security controls and best practices.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities using tools
like Tenable.io, Tenable.sc, and Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management.
2. Implement and maintain security controls including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint,
antivirus, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
3. Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with internal and external security
policies and standards (e.g., ISO, NIST).
4. Manage patching and updates across Windows and Linux environments
using SCCM, Intune, and WSUS.
5. Provide Tier 2 technical support and resolve issues via a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow,
Jira).
6. Support remote access (VPN), LAN/WAN infrastructure, and endpoint security
configurations.
7. Maintain accurate inventory and asset logs with secure asset lifecycle management
practices.
8. Collaborate with Systems Engineers, Infrastructure Leads, and IT Managers on security and
infrastructure projects.
9. Document technical procedures, security protocols, and IT policies for audit and compliance
purposes.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator with a strong focus
on security operations.
Hands-on experience with Tenable Vulnerability Management, Microsoft Defender for
Endpoint, and Microsoft Defender for Identity.
Strong knowledge of vulnerability management, intrusion detection/prevention, and
endpoint protection.
Experience with databases, LAN/WAN networks, and patch management tools.
Familiarity with proactive management systems such as Intune, SCCM, and Auto Pilot.
Proficiency in managing Active Directory, Office 365, and hybrid cloud infrastructures
(Azure, AWS).
Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages for automation and security
tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and documentation abilities.
Professional certifications such as MCSA, Security+, CEH, or Microsoft Certified:
Security Operations Analyst Associate are a plus.
