Systems Acoustic Engineer- Ultrasound
The Acoustic System Design Engineer will play a critical role in creating our next generation of ultrasound products that are helping to save lives all around the world. **Your role:** + Will apply acoustic wave propagation and signal processing theory to the design and specification of new imaging algorithms and imaging sub-systems. + Coordinate the design, development, and integration of new ultrasound systems and transducers. Tune diagnostic ultrasound systems for optimum image quality on a range of transducers and imaging features + Lead the complete development and implementation of new ultrasound imaging capabilities, including development plans, algorithm design, integration strategy, and SW implementation. + Collaborate with Research, Marketing and Product Management organizations to define new feature requirements to meet specific clinical applications and market needs. + Develop and participate in medical ultrasound feasibility and research projects to support research and development **You're the right fit if:** + You have a minimum of 3+ years of experience with signal/image processing, filter design and linear/nonlinear acoustic wave propagation + You have proven experience in Ultrasound imaging, beamforming, acquisition design, acoustic wave propagation theory, and clinical laboratory experience. + You’re able to collaborate with cross functional team members, including Research, Marketing and Product Management. + You have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
