**Description**
**System Test Engineer – Mission Distribution System (TMPC/TWS)**
Leidos is seeking a System Test Engineer to join our team at the Washington Navy Yard, supporting the Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) segment of the Tomahawk Weapon System (TWS). In this role, you will focus on Mission Distribution System (MDS) testing and transition to TMPC-level test engineering under a Product Assurance contract with the US Navy Cruise Missile Project.
**What You’ll Do**
+ Analyze requirements, software design, specifications, and user documentation
+ Develop and execute test plans and procedures (functional, integration, regression, etc.)
+ Record, report, and track test results and issues
+ Create operational test scenarios and participate in milestone reviews
+ Conduct site acceptance testing at domestic and international end-user locations (up to 10% travel)
+ Participate in engineering review boards, evaluating products and processes
+ Work independently to meet daily objectives and collaborate with internal experts on technical challenges
+ Communicate regularly with project teams, management, and external customers
+ Ensure project schedules and performance requirements are met
+ Contribute to organizational goals, objectives, and process improvements
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 5 years of relevant experience (additional related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
+ Proficiency in relevant computer application languages, technologies, and tools
+ Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
+ Experience in verification and validation: developing test cases, executing procedures, documenting issues, and reporting results
+ Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Operational experience with Tomahawk Mission Distribution System (MDS) and strike planning
+ Working knowledge of software engineering, programming, databases (SQL), system interface testing, and test automation

**Pay Range:**
Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
