Danfoss Climate Solutions is looking for a forward-thinking and action-driven System Solution Designer for cooling & heating systems. What You’ll Be Doing

 

Focus on system integration, consolidating product portfolios to enable efficient customer solutions. Mechanical design and 3D modeling of full systems (piping, bending, flow, and space calculations) based on P&ID diagrams. Expertise in pipe and flange standards (ANSI, DIN ISO) with integration into complete system models and frames. Proficient in AutoCAD Plant 3D, SolidWorks (routing), or Revit BIM; BIM and hydronic balancing are advantageous. Utilize advanced 3D tools for collision analysis, virtual assembly, and optimization (cost, efficiency, and operation). Develop prototypes, subsystems, and modules, translating applications into technical requirements and supporting testing. What We're Looking For

 

We are seeking a self-motivated and System engineer who can foster growth and innovation, possesses a creative mindset, and has a structured and execution-oriented approach.

 

To be considered for this position, you should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plant engineering, Energy Engineering or a similar field, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of experience in System Engineering or System Design with solid hands-on skills and a commercial focus. You should have knowledge and experience in design, development, simulation, digitization, and validation of Thermal Management, Cooling, and Heating Systems.

 

Experience working in a matrix environment is beneficial, and you should also have a proven history of collaboration with external partners and off-shoring of design and development activities.

 

Other requirements include: Fluency in English. Proficient design skills in CAD systems and PDMs. Able to structure and organize work efficiently and effectively. Strong analytical skills, hands-on mentality. Creativity and the ability to work independently. Structured problem-solving and decision-making ability. Experience with the design, simulation, verification, and validation of system solutions is considered a plus.
