Strong AIX OS expertise, IBM Power Systems hardware knowledge, virtualization skills (LPARs, VIOS), storage management, and excellent problem-solving abilities 2. System Setup & Configuration * Connecting to AIX System Console (local and remote) * Using SMIT (System Management Interface Tool) * Managing devices and attributes * Handling boot and shutdown sequences * Installing fixes and update · Build and configure AIX/ Linux infrastructure for projects and BAU Storage Management * Understanding and managing LVM (Logical Volume Manager) * Creating and maintaining file systems * Handling raw physical volumes 4. System Security * Managing users, groups, and permissions * Implementing basic system security policies 5. Performance Tuning * Identifying performance bottlenecks (CPU, RAM, I/O) * Understanding virtual memory management (VMM) * Monitoring paging space and system tuneable 6.
