Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO is seeking a full-time Early Career System Integration/Test Engineer. As a Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and execution of test procedures for avionics circuit card assemblies and electronics boxes. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful testing of these units through various environmental and functional tests, including vibration, thermal cycling, thermal vacuum, EMI, and mechanical shock testing.
In this role, you will:
• Develop and execute test procedures for circuit card assemblies and electronics boxes
• Follow units through their entire test campaign, from initial functional testing to environmental testing
• Ensure test discipline is maintained throughout the test process, including during normal test flow and failure conditions
• Perform troubleshooting to identify root cause of failures and recommend solutions to proceed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve test-related issues and improve test processes
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of the following: engineering drawings, schematics, sketches, specifications, and standards; circuit card components; and any computer software language application and basic software skills. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (Electrical Eng, Mechanical Eng, and Aerospace Eng preferred).
• Familiarity with electrical test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Power Supplies, or Function Generators, or closely related instruments
• Familiarity with any computer software language application and basic software skills (i.e. C++, Python, MATLAB etc)
• Familiarity with the testing process including requirements analysis, planning, executing, troubleshooting, and/or data analysis
• Must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with detailed test troubleshooting; including documentation and communication of test failures to stakeholders
• Work or classroom knowledge and experience with circuit card components (resistors, transistors, inductors, capacitors, diodes, sensors, etc.)
• Able to interpret drawings, schematics, sketches, specifications, and standards.
• Familiarity with multiple testing environments including thermal, thermal vacuum, and vibration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $57,500 - $101,430. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
