System Feature Owner

Our Technical Center in Krakow focuses on complex systems and software development within active safety projects, and we work with many global vehicle manufacturers. We are now looking for new members to join our exciting journey towards more trustworthy systems that will enable mobility in the future!

Your Role

The Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) Feature Function Owner role is a customer-facing role that requires a deep technical understanding while at the same time requiring the soft skills needed to interface with customers and other stakeholders. You will be part of the systems team and responsible for your specific ADAS feature function, working together with all internal and external development teams in order to ensure that we deliver the best system possible. In this role you will get to know the fundamental capabilities of the technology within Aptiv’s Radar and Camera-based sensors for Active Safety.

In your daily work you will:

Owning the assigned ADAS feature function(s) (such as lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency breaking etc.)Be the interface for the customer as well as internal stakeholdersResponsible for customer requirements analysis, derivation and creation of system requirements, break-down of the requirements to the software development teamPart of Agile development environment: Planning and supporting the development teams with expertise and knowledge during the sprintsIndependently follow the technical development of your ADAS feature functionSupport the development team in the development and testing of the softwareTesting your system in the vehicle to verify that your ADAS feature function works as expected, verify bug reports, and analyze the function performanceThrough close teamwork with software and system engineers, project managers, and external customers, actively prioritize and solve issues that may occur in the functionContinuously follow up to make sure your function is delivered to the customer with the agreed scope on time.Work globally, across the Europe countries, Asia and North America – role might involve international and intercontinental travels multiple times a yearFacilitate and Improving continuously development support factors, e.g., simulation tools and testing environmentLeading troubleshooting and root-causing issues for ongoing and upcoming programs and projects

Your background

Bachelor or Master degree in electronics, telecommunication, robotics, software engineering, computer science, or equivalentProven leadership skills and good judgment regarding systems and softwareProfessional Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.Self-motivated, professional, service-minded, flexible person with a positive and resilient attitudeAble to bear high levels of responsibility: making decisions, being accountableAble to build productive working relationships with a diverse workforceAbility to function in a high pressure and sometimes ambiguous environmentGood presentation skills. Strong leadership skills but also a team player

Nice to have:

Experience of systems design within active safety/ADASExperience in the areas of camera, radar, and/or fusion technologies.Experience in the automotive and/or truck industry development (ISO26262, Regulations, etc.)Experience working in an agile development environmentExperience working in a requirements management tool, such as Polarion, Doors, etc.Intermediate to strong programming skills in Matlab, Python or C/C++Understanding of product and software development processExperience working with communication protocols, such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and EthernetKnowledge of vector tools, such as CANoe, CANalyzer and CANape
