Job Summary:
Supports SSM Health’s Mission through strategic initiatives overseeing enterprise-wide scheduling and labor management. Drives alignment between workforce planning, business transformation, and organizational priorities by leveraging data analytics, technology platforms, and cross-functional collaboration. Engages with executive leaders to ensures optimal labor utilization, cost-effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and consistent scheduling practices across all clinical and/or non-clinical functions. Provides leadership and oversight to ensure contingent labor programs are aligned with evolving organizational priorities and clinical and/or non-clinical workforce demands.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
Primary Responsibilities
Lead implementation of system standardization of scheduling practices that focus on delivering flexibility to the organization, improved experience, and decrease manual workload.Lead innovation of strategic scheduling practices that focus on delivering flexibility to our organization, creates stickiness to the organization and decreases the burden on manager tactical workload. Implements and ensures adherence to system operational improvements, including productivity management, staffing, and scheduling standardization, strategic plan initiatives and implementation. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to reach budget goals. Evaluates and develops diverse employment options utilizing data analysis in alignment with workforce planning and business transformation to increase organizational efficiency and operating margin improvement.Engages in cross-functional collaboration with hospital leaders to align staffing strategies with patient care demands, operational goals, financial stewardship, and ensuring proactive workforce planning and optimal coverage.Implements transformative labor strategies to enhance overall workforce value. Provides extensive subject matter expertise and to executive leadership in implementing initiatives and development of sustainment/control plans for solutions related to scheduling/labor management.Performs other duties as assigned.Education
