What You’ll Be DoingAs Team Lead, you will guide a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering integrated mechanical systems. Your primary responsibilities include:
System Design & Integration: Lead mechanical design based on P&ID diagrams, including 3D modeling, piping, flow, and bending calculations. Ensure compliance with standards (ANSI, DIN, ISO) and manage spatial layout and frame integration. CAD & Virtual Validation: Utilize tools like AutoCAD Plant 3D, SolidWorks (with routing), or Revit (BIM) to develop system models, perform collision checks, and validate assemblies virtually. Platform & Subsystem Development: Guide the creation of modular platforms and subsystems, translating system requirements into technical specifications and prototypes. Optimization & Innovation: Ensure system performance in terms of cost, energy efficiency, and operation. Apply deep system knowledge to support innovation and comparative studies (e.g., thermal management). Collaboration & Leadership: Support cross-functional teams with modeling, simulation, and testing. Experience with BIM workflows and hydronic balancing is a plus. What We're Looking ForQualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Plant, or Energy Engineering. At least 5 years of experience in system engineering, thermal system design, or mechanical integration. Proven skills in CAD tools (AutoCAD Plant 3D or SolidWorks with routing or Revit/BIM) and PDM systems. Strong understanding of P&ID-based design, 3D modeling, flow and bending calculations, and virtual validation. Familiarity with industry standards (ANSI, DIN, ISO) and thermal management systems (cooling/heating) Fluent in English
Leadership & Collaboration: Experience leading cross-functional teams and working in matrix organizations. Skilled in coordinating with external partners and managing offshore development. Ability to guide platform and subsystem development, from requirements to prototypes.
