GDIT is seeking a System Analyst SME (Project/Task Manager) to fulfill GDIT responsibilities IN ADDITION TO CURRENT full-time individual contributor role (which directly supports the USPS customer). This position will be a GDIT People Manager, with direct employee reports. They will work closely with both GDIT and USPS management to ensure a continued trusted partnership between the entities. This position is the first line of communication between USPS and GDIT and is responsible for invoicing and financial forecasting, interviewing/selecting candidates to submit against both competitive positions and backfill positions, assisting with growth opportunities within the USPS, and other operational/contractual requirements as they arise. This GDIT System Analyst SME (Project/Task Manager) will support all employees and subcontractors on their respective delivery orders and have profit/loss responsibility.
HOW A SYSTEM ANALYST SME (Project/Task Manager) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
First point of contact/representative of GDIT to both USPS management and GDIT staff (employees and subs)Interface with customer stakeholders, project personnel, vendorsDevelops key trusted advisor relationships with customers for those task orders/delivery orders for which they are assigned.Responsible for profit/loss (P&L) for those task order/delivery orders for which they are assigned.Track overtime to make sure the task order does not go over budget.Responsible for communicating resources who support said task/delivery order absence to Sr. Program ManagerResponsible for communicating all pertinent GDIT information to those resources who support said task/deliver orders.Solicit information for current openings and future potential opportunitiesProvide period program reviewResponsible for financial projections, budget and resource allocationAssist with recruiting as neededOpen GDIT requisition for all open positions/send positions to GDIT Subcontracts to be communicated to our sub partnersPerform project onboarding of new team members. Establish start date with USPS, GDIT, and candidate and coordinate with USPS IT for equipment/connectivity for new contractorsAssist with annual ratings and merit increasesResponsible for overall success of task order you are assignedReview/reconcile/approve SETRIS and Unanet timesheetsCollect screenshots of PCTS and SETRIS, for Unanet reconciliationAddress employee questions (leave, bereavement, timecard, benefits, connectivity issues, etc.)Address subcontractor questions (timecard, rates, etc.)Responsible for managing performance for both employees and subsAddress resource issues, including removal from contractPrepare & conduct the annual and mid-year performance evaluations for the Middleware and Engineering teams.WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
